Finding your place in God’s story…

It is His story - not ours. That said, we have a part in it. It’s a part that starts in a rough place - a guilty place. Then it progresses, with His help, to a point of recognizing our guilt and its associated consequences of death and eternal separation from Him.

It’s a recognition that out of His immeasurable love, He made a way for us to be reconciled back to Himself through Jesus’ work on the cross and sin-conquering resurrection.

Only by turning from the life we had and yielding ourself daily to the lordship of Jesus can we find remedy, forgiveness and our one true hope.

Submitting to His plan for our life, studying His word and growing day-by-day to be more like Him is the effort and path to which we are called. Sharing His story and teaching others His will along-the-way is our commission.

And ultimately when called home, passing from this life to the next, through His grace alone, we will spend eternity worshiping Him in His presence!

Ask yourself:

  1. How have the circumstances in your life brought you to recognize your need for a relationship with Jesus?

  2. How has your pursuit of God and walk-with-the-Lord led you to where you are now?

  3. What is your understanding or sense of God’s plan for you - both long-term and right now?

  4. How has being a part of Integrity Church helped in that regard?
